"Beautiful Gauja"
We had the pleasure to be shown around the Gauja nationalpark area by our guide Mikelis. Also, we were lucky enough to visit the Gauja river when no one else was there - truly magical! Can only recommend!
"A perfect day"
This day tour was a great experience.
The guide is very kind. He asked about our wishes to adapt the tour.
We have seen a Lovely little town, have a walk around the gauja river and gone to so many other interesting place.
For the lunch, we ate in a restaurant which offers good food for a good price. The guide helped us to choose typical meal and drink.
Last but not least, we have talked about latvian situation and culture and he asked question about the place where we live.
We had a bad english but he was very patient to repeat slowly when we née it and to understand what we said.
So, it was very instructive, plenty of beautiful places and a good human expérience.
We highly recommand this tour.
"Journey to the Forests"
The guide was knowledgeable and took pains to bring us to different sites within the National Park. It was an enriching experience.
"National park -- a soul of a nation"
The day in Gauja national park made me reconsider the term national park -- besides the nature it has everything that belongs to the soul of a nation: the cultural landscapes, the history. For me, the true highlights of the day were the Ungurmuiža manor, a tiny little wooden manor in all its dignity, and the ferry ride. The latter looks more like a piece of road coming towards you and taking yourself and your van to the other shore, using only the power of the river, no electricity. A steampunk experience! I love Riga, but I'm happy I spent a day in the countryside.
"Very Worth It!"
Mike was a fun tour guide and had a ton of knowledge about the history of the Baltics. He told a lot of jokes and even sang multiple times in Latvian for us. I was surprised at how quickly the 9 hour day went. All the stops were really interesting, with a good mix of city and nature. This tour was a good chance for us to visit places that we wouldn't have had a chance to otherwise and we had a great time getting to know our fellow travellers. I would highly recommend this sightseeing tour, especially with Mike as your guide!

Loved this tour. Mike made it so much fun with his lively commentary, his love of the region, and his own enjoyment in being with us. I enjoyed each activity. And it was well-paced. An enjoyable and worthwhile excursion without which I would not have gotten to visit and experience some beautiful and interesting parts of both Latvia. Having a guide who was both knowledgeable, interested and engaging put this tour far above any other tours I have experienced.

An amazing day with opportunity to walk around some special places, learning about the history and people of Estonia and Latvia. The stories, songs and descriptions from the tour guide were amazing. Also great opportunity to talk to fellow travelers. This is the best way I’ve ever traveled to another city.

Our guide was very passionate about sharing her personal experiences as well which made all the stories even more interesting. Because were an international group, it was also fun to exchange our travel tips and tricks amongst each other.

"History filled and personal tour"
Our tour guides, but especially Anna, were amazing!! Ana talked about so much culture and history about Latvia that spanned 100 years to present day. She covered, sports, customs, hobbies, the world wars, independence, music and dancing and not a single moment of it was boring! She spoke with so much knowledge and pride in her country and its trials and triumphs. It was an unexpectedly good tour that really allowed me to get more out of what I was seeing. And to use a company like this is really the best way to travel because you are still seeing and experiencing while repositioning yourself. And all the little places we visited and the food were all phenomenal. I enjoyed it all.

we decided to take this day trip just one day before and we’re lucky they still have last spot. The whole day trip was so enjoyable, despite the rainy weather. I like that the itinerary was not too full so that we have enough time in each sites without being rushed. Anna as the guide was really passionate, cheerful and really insightful. She really ensured that everyone was enjoying the tour. The Van we used was convenient. Overall is a day well spent, very glad that we took this tour. Special thanks for Anna !!
