Katrin Senior Tour Guide

Tour Guide

Katrin is a cheerful girl we at Tallinn Traveller Tours discovered in a crazy cool school in a mythological and expensive place called Norway. As soon as she returned Tallinn, we made her become a tour guide.

She is an avid supporter of all things green, thus Katrin has a special love-hate relationship with Tallinn's roads as she cycles everywhere from the outskirts of Tallinn where she lives.

Katrin just graduated high school and is now taking a year off before heading to UK to study Geography. She plans to spend the year learning as many awesome things as possible – the list already includes juggling and surfing. As UK studies need funds, you can also occasionally find her busking with an Estonian traditional bagpipe at the harbour. It seems like a nice way to be greeted into the country, also a rather strange one, which makes it awesome.

As a tour guide, Katrin uses her experience from living in a very international community in Norway to find the best way to make anyone understand these weird quiet creatures called Estonians and their small special habitat called Estonia.

"Must do in Tallinn"

The trip was organized very smoothly in a perfect pace. We also had the perfect bog walking experience and a wonderful local cuisine. Highly recommended. Katrin also gives us a good insights to landmarks and history in Estonia. Enjoy a lot :)

"Interesting and informative "

An enjoyable, varied and informative trip with an excellent guide who brought personal insight to her excellent knowledge and perfect English.

"Great experience"

Katrin was an excellent guide who was happy to share her knowledge about her country. The programme was nice with a lot of different things around nature, culture & history, food & drinks. I had a swim in a bog in the national park and I enjoyed it!

"Nice introduction to Estonian nature"

Nice and friendly introduction to the beautiful Estonian nature, some traditional food, history and general way of life. Our guide Katrin created a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, while giving a lot of interesting background info throughout the whole trip. No special outdoor clothing necessary (the walking part is rather easy), although I would highly recommend mosquito repellent and long trousers.

"amazing nature, insight in Estonian culture"

Our guide had really interesting information about Estonian culture/history and the stops all were really worth it, I loved the bog trail, really beautiful even during cloudy weather, and also in theory there should be vegan options at lunch, but I had lunch myself at a nice place.

"A must day trip from Tallinn"

This tour is definitely a must from Tallinn. The lahemaa national park offers beautiful views and hikes. Our guide (I'm sorry but i forgot the name) has been very kind and gave us a lot of information, including suggestions during our lunch break. In my case, there was also an organizational problem but everything was well handled and they also offered a reward for the inconvenience.
